The Orange Blossom Classic was founded in 1933 and became an annual event in 1947. Throughout its illustrious history, the OBC became recognized as the unofficial “Black National Championship” game, establishing its legacy as the most important annual sporting event and the largest annual gathering of any kind for African Americans.

The Orange Blossom Football Classic Association, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will award a limited number of scholarships in the amount of $1,500 to each qualifying graduating high school seniors in the South Florida area with a minimum 2.5 GPA, who have been accepted to an accredited historically black college or university.
