Also I highly doubt anyone gaming on an OLED is using it for competitive esports gaming where minimal input lag is necessary. Most games use a maximum of 1 pre rendered frame which is the equivalent to "On".. and LLM on affects DirectX 9 & 11, it has no affect on Direct X 12 / Vulcan / OpenGL engines

Prior to this I’ve been using an Alienware AW3418DW (3440x1440, IPS, G-Sync, 100hz overclocked to 120hz), henceforth referred to as “AW”. So, while it's not my first gaming monitor, it's my first OLED gaming monitor. Otherwise, my experience with OLED screens is limited to two phones over the years.

I wall-mounted a 55" LG G4, and I use a 7800X3D/4090. I sit about five feet away, and it's mind-blowing. I've had four different OLED gaming monitors and have sold them all. The G4 was such an improvement that a desktop gaming monitor isn't even a consideration for me anymore. It's in a completely different league, like going from 1080p to 4K.

Mar 18, 2023 · I tried the LG 27” 240hz OLED ans was kinda excited to try a smaller “monitor” OLED display. Well… it was ok, that’s really it just OK, especially for $1,000 for a 27”. I think it was just too small being used to the 48” & far less immersive. I’m gonna be gaming 85% of the time and the rest some work emails and web browsing etc.
