Nvidia (NVDA) stock closed at a record high on Monday ahead of CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote address at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Shares rose more than 3% to $149.43 — north of Nvidia's previous record closing price of $148.

"We still see CES as a positive catalyst, re-asserting NVDA's platform dominance/opportunity in high-growth markets," Bank of America said.

Nvidia Corp. investors have high hopes that Monday’s speech from CEO Jensen Huang will spark a fresh breakout in the chipmaker’s shares, which have plateaued since November after roaring higher for much of 2024.
