State police identified the victims on Sunday as 43-year-old Clinton David Brink and his 41-year-old wife, Cristen Amanda Brink. In a statement issued on Sunday, the Arkansas State Police said the couple was killed while out hiking with their two daughter, ages 7 and 9, who were not injured in the incident.

Officials said Clinton Brink and Cristen Brink were hiking with their two daughters when they were attacked on Saturday. Both daughters are safe and with family.

Arkansas State Police say there is an active investigation at Devil's Den State Park in West Fork. ASP says no further information is available at this time. A 40/29 News photographer is en route to the area now.
