WWE Announces Date And Location For Backlash 2025
Following a record breaking instalment of WWE Backlash in 2024, the first Premium Live Event to take place in France, the company has announced that after taking their annual post-WrestleMania PLE international over the past two years, the 2025 edition of Backlash will be returning stateside this coming May.

World Wrestling Entertainment is bringing one of its major events to downtown St. Louis. WWE said Friday that its annual Backlash wrestling event will be held May 10 at Enterprise Center. Backlash, which began in 1999,
WWE Backlash Announced For May 10, John Cena To Appear
March 14, 2025 – WWE today announced that Backlash will emanate from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, May 10. The event will feature St. Louis native Randy Orton in addition to WWE Superstar John Cena who will make his first Backlash appearance since 2009 as he continues his year-long farewell tour.
John Cena Confirmed For Another Major WWE Event
Cena will also appear at Saturday night's Main Event on May 24th at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. This marks Cena's first appearance in Tampa since December 2022. Cena is scheduled for appearances on Raw and SmackDown during WWE's European tour:
