Nebraska men defeat No. 18 Illinois in OT to snap losing streak
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska men’s basketball team snapped a six-game losing streak Thursday, beating No. 18 Illinois 80-74 in overtime at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Huskers narrowly outshot the Illini 40% to 36% from the field, and they never trailed.
Illinois lost for the first time in 10 meetings with Nebraska and for the first time in four visits to Pinnacle Bank Arena.
