AFC Toronto recreated the viral Coldplay kiss cam moment during a goal celebration, joining other sports teams and TV hosts in referencing the popular clip.

What began as a feel-good moment at Coldplay’s July 16 concert in Boston turned into an internet meme-fest when the kiss cam caught Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and company HR head Kristin Cabot – supposedly cuddling!

The original kiss cam footage from the Coldplay concert on July 16 went viral and prompted a tidal wave of memes ( even from big brands such as Aldi's ), as well as fake statements claiming to be from Byron, Coldplay and someone claiming to have recently been fired by the company, among others.

The laughter directed at the couple caught canoodling, sans spouses, at a Coldplay concert isn't self-righteous as much as it is appropriately self-aware.
