India Test wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and opener Yashasvi Jaiswal had confirmed their availability to play in the next round of the Ranji Trophy on Tuesday.

DDCA secretary Ashok Sharma urged Virat Kohli to participate in Delhi's Ranji Trophy matches, suggesting he take inspiration from Mumbai players like Rohit Sharma, who recently trained with Mumbai's squad despite not confirming his match participation.

Virat Kohli has been named in Delhi's probable squad for the second round of the Ranji Trophy and he could turn up for the league stage match against Saurashtra. Rishabh Pant has confirmed that he will make his Ranji Trophy return after seven years.
