Utah Jazz big man Kyle Filipowski has been one of the breakout stars of NBA Summer League, showcasing a polished offensive game that’s turning heads. And hey, who knows, possibly even reshaping Utah’s frontcourt plans.

Dylan Harper and the San Antonio Spurs won the best game of the Las Vegas Summer League in overtime over the Utah Jazz.

According to ESPN, it “is not Utah's intention” to trade Markkanen, in spite of their forward-looking moves this offseason. “It would be too much to describe Markkanen as untouchable, but the Jazz still project the All-Star forward as a key player in their future core,” ESPN's insiders wrote.

Despite parting ways with multiple veterans this offseason, the Utah Jazz reportedly aren't planning to move on from star forward Lauri Markkanen.
