A rainfall warning has been issued for a wide swath of the Outaouais to the north and west of Gatineau, Que., while thunderstorm watches are in place elsewhere in the region.Bands of heavy rain will begin falling Sunday night and Monday morning,

On Sunday at 3:28 p.m. the NWS Raleigh NC released a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 4:15 p.m. The warning is for Alamance, Chatham, Durham, Orange and Wake counties.

"The storm which prompted the warning continues to move out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. for northern New Jersey," says the National Weather Service.
