As snow fills in across Middle Tennessee, conditions will deteriorate fast. Bottom line: Be where you want to be Friday morning. Expect a range of 3-5” near the Tenn./Ky. border with slightly higher amounts as you head more into Middle Tennessee.
Several inches of snow expected Friday
Some mixing in of sleet and/or rain is expected at least over southern Middle Tennessee by midday on Friday. Some mixing may even approach the I-840 or I-40 corridor for a short time. That said, snow is the most likely precipitation type through the duration of the storm in Nashville.
