A flash flood warning was issued by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC on Wednesday at 2:14 p.m. in effect until 5:15 p.m. for Dare County.

Today's rain chance comes a little earlier than what we have seen over the past couple of days, with most dry after 5 p.m. tonight.

On Tuesday at 1:34 p.m. a flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 4:30 p.m. for Bedford, Blair, Huntingdon and Somerset counties.
