Berggren’s late breakaway goal lifts Red Wings to third win in row
Jonatan Berggren came out of the penalty box and scored on a breakaway with 36 seconds remaining in the third period Thursday, lifting the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-4 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena. The Red Wings (16-18-4) have won three in a row under new coach Todd McLellan, equaling their season-long winning streak.
