The ex-boyfriend of a woman who was stabbed and brought to a Citrus Heights fire station for medical help, is in custody for her murder, police say. A 28-year-old woman was parked in front of a private residence where she worked on Thursday morning when police say a man she formerly dated violently stabbed her while she was inside a vehicle.

Citrus Heights police said the woman was taken by family members to a fire station and was then transported to a hospital.
