The Los Angeles Dodgers are finalizing a trade for Minnesota Twins reliever Brock Stewart, ESPN's Jeff Passan reported Thursday. The Dodgers are sending outfielder James Outman back to the Twins as part of the deal, per Alden González of ESPN.

Compared with the flurry of blockbuster deals that reverberated around them in the National League, the Dodgers' moves were mild, tame and certainly cost conscientious.

The Twins are serious about this. They're not going to wait around and allow a needed reset to become a long rebuild. Next out the door in what is very much a fire-sale: Brock Stewart, to his former organization.
