A former general manager believes the Boston Red Sox still aren't ruling out the idea of trading outfielder Jarren Duran before the MLB trade deadline.

Abreu’s clutch hitting has been evident since the season began. On Opening Day in Texas, he tied the game 2-2 with a solo homer in the top of the fifth and then gave Boston a 5-2 lead in the ninth inning with a three-run homer.

It’s Tuesday, July 29 and the Red Sox (57-51) are in Minneapolis to take on the Twins (51-55). Lucas Giolito is slated to take the mound for Boston, while Minnesota has yet to announce a starter.
