People watching a livestream of bald eagle couple Jackie and Shadow got quite a scare as Jackie suddenly spread her wings to protect her babies from predators flying above the nest.

Jackie and Shadow are now the proud parents of two eaglets who have hatched as thousands tune in to a livestream of an eagle camera feed.
