Trudys Brides and Special Occasions is preparing to relocate to San Jose and exit Campbell in a move that enables the store to expand.

Owners Sandra and Jose Valenzuela say the reopening is bittersweet, as neighbors and some of their staff have lost so much.

Last year's holiday season events in downtown dazzled more residents than last year, said the city's economic development agency.
