Lifeguards at a Florida beach rescued an unusual struggling swimmer from the Atlantic Ocean: a white-tailed deer.

It was Scott Ruskan's first official mission as a rescue swimmer for the U.S. Coast Guard Cleveland firefighters were at the scene of an industrial fire on the city's southeast side on Monday morning.

A dramatic rescue happened on a Florida beach, but the victim looked much different from what lifeguards typically see.
