A shooting at Tuskegee University in Alabama during a homecoming celebration on Sunday resulted in the death of an individual and more injuries, the university said. Footage posted on social media appears to show several gunshots fired and students fleeing from the scene. Several law enforcement agencies are responding to the incident.

According to Tuskegee spokeswoman Thonnia Lee, the person who was killed was not associated with the university. Several other people, including Tuskegee students, were injured and are receiving treatment at East Alabama Medical Center and Baptist South Hospital.
