Weeks after closing down the city’s largest resting site for homeless residents, city officials are considering three new designated resting sites in Grants Pass.
A temporary restraining order against Grants Pass to keep the city from enforcing its camping ban has been extended for 10 days. Disability Rights Oregon confirmed the extension on Wednesday. According to court documents,
In addition to Medford, Grants Pass and Bend, several other Oregon cities made their top 10 list: Klamath Falls (#5), Roseburg (#6) and Eugene/Springfield (#10). The smokiest city in Washington was Yakima (#15).
