After the win over the Steelers, Ja’Marr Chase hopped on social media to react to him being on the verge of history. Pending Sunday’s games, he’s now all but guaranteed to become the NFL’s first triple-crown winner since Cooper Kupp did it in 2021 and Steve Smith Jr. did it in 2005.
The perception of what will happen with the Cincinnati Bengals and star wideouts Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins has taken a dramatic shift in recent weeks. It’s not just fans or even players who are interviewed, either.

As calendars turn to January, some teams around the league are preparing for their final push for the playoffs, while others have already begun their preparation for the 2025 NFL draft.
The Bengals beat the Steelers on Saturday night to improve to 9-8 on the season. They currently have a 30% chance of making the playoffs according to the New York Times simulator. The Bengals need the Chiefs to beat the Broncos and the Jets to beat the Dolphins on Sunday to make the postseason.

At the 9:49 mark of the first quarter, quarterback Joe Burrow hit Chase for a 12-yard touchdown catch to give the Bengals an early 7-0 lead. In doing so, Chase tied former Cincinnati wide receiver Carl Pickens for the most touchdown receptions in a single season in franchise history with 17.
Even though the money will be tough to figure out, there's still a glimmer of hope that Tee Higgins will remain with the Cincinnati Bengals beyond 2024
