Trump took to his Truth Social media platform on Friday after Sanders, who some mock drafts forecast to be selected as high as the No. 2 overall pick, was not taken two days into the 2025 NFL Draft.

All 32 NFL teams passed on Sanders on April 24 in the first round and Trump (who once owned the USFL's New Jersey Generals) appears ready to fire every owner of a team that needs a quarterback after posting his displeasure about Sanders still being available.

The White House press secretary spoke to the media on Monday while being asked about Shedeur Sanders' fall in the NFL Draft after Donald Trump had made a statement on Truth Social
