A suspicious death in Southeast Portland last week has been officially ruled a homicide and the man killed has been publicly identified, Portland police announced Monday.

Officers found 37-year-old Jeremiah McKenzie dead in a travel trailer near Southeast 84th Avenue and Insley Street last week. The medical examiner said he was shot. Police have not publicly identified any suspects.

Police are investigating a possible homicide after a man was found dead in a travel trailer Thursday night. Officers arrived at the trailer near Southeast 84th Avenue and Insley Street in the Lents neighborhood around 9:15 p.m. after receiving a report from paramedics, the Portland Police Bureau said.
