According to YES Network, it’s been 103 years since the Yankees were held to four runs or fewer across a three-game series against Boston. Not since 1922 had they looked this flat in a full series against the Sox. The Yankees' four runs matched their fewest in a three-game series at Fenway Park, from June 20-22, 1916, and from Sept. 28-30, 1922.

George Lombard, the Yankees’ top prospect, has impressed just about everyone in the organization. That includes the rehabbing Stanton.

Yankees right-hander Marcus Stroman allowed just one run over 3 1/3 innings in his first rehab start for Double-A Somerset on Wednesday, while slugger Giancarlo Stanton had another hit in his second rehab appearance with the club.
