Superman director James Gunn discusses the upcoming solo Supergirl movie, Milly Alcock's "rougher" take on Kara, and whether Krypto will suffer the same fate he does in the Woman of Tomorrow

DC Studios co-chief James Gunn mentioned back in June that a new ‘Wonder Woman’ movie was in the process of being written, and now Nogueira is aboard.

The ‘Superman’ director also shut down rumors that DC Studios is looking to cast an actress “with a TV-centric resume, akin to Supergirl’s Milly Alcock" for the titular role.

Gunn shared the first poster for Supergirl on Twitter, writing, "Look Out. 2026." The artwork shows Milly Alcock’s Kara Zor-El standing in front of a Superman mural, whilst sipping on a beverage of sorts. But it looks like the party girl has defaced her cousin’s 'Look Up' logo by spray painting 'out' over 'up.' Check out the post below.
