After missing five games due to a quad strain, Caitlin Clark returned to action on Saturday afternoon, and helped the Indiana Fever hand the reigning champion New York Liberty their first loss of the season in front of a raucous crowd inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Saturday's incredible Clark performance served as a fierce reminder of why this Fever team will contend for championships with her on the court. Few players in the history of the WNBA have been able to do what she's able to do with a basketball, and not even an elite team like the Liberty can bottle her up when she's on fire.

Caitlin Clark made seven 3-pointers and scored a season-high 32 points in her return from a five-game absence, and the Indiana Fever handed the defending WNBA champion New York Liberty their first loss of the season with a 102-88 victory Saturday.
