A significantwinter storm is set to impact Upstate New York, prompting the National Weather Service (NWS) to issue multiple winter storm warnings and advisories for heavy snowfall, strong winds, and hazardous driving conditions.

More than a foot of snow is expected through early Thursday in parts of central New York, while other parts of of western and central New York will see several inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.
