A Tornado Watch has been issued for our inland SE GA counties ahead of a line of thunderstorms. Storms will arrive later this afternoon, and into the evening across the coastal corridor.
Tornado watches are issued for large areas if tornadoes are possible. A warning is issued for a smaller area when a tornado has been spotted.
There is a slight risk of severe storms for much of the area today. Damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes will be the primary threat.

A couple strong storms will remain possible through Saturday evening, then a cold front ushers in much cooler weather Sunday.
