Bryce Harper’s love for the Philly Phanatic runs skin deep. Literally. The Phillies superstar arrived at spring training sporting a tattoo on his right arm of the team’s iconic mascot zooming around on an all-terrain vehicle.

Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper continued his team spirit with an epic tattoo of the team's mascot.

Harper's appreciation for the Phanatic is nothing new. He has worn headbands, custom Phanatic cleats, leg guards and a sliding mitt to honor the mascot during his six seasons with Philadelphia. Harper, 32, averaged .287 with 30 home runs and 87 RBIs for the Phillies in the 2024 season.

Bryce Harper has always found new ways to pay tribute to the Phillie Phanatic since he arrived in Philadelphia in 2019. Ahead of this season, he found another, and a permanent one. Enlisting the help of Salt Lake City tattoo artist Hannah Matthews, Harper got the Phanatic riding his ATV inked just above his right wrist.

It started with the two wearing tributes to each other on their cleats in Harper’s first series with the Phillies, escalated with Harper getting a custom-tailored Phillie Phanatic suit and has continued with the duo routinely exchanging gifts and swag.
