Winter storms close northern Arizona highways for an extended period
PHOENIX – Multiple northern Arizona highways remained closed Friday due to dangerous winter driving conditions. “If you don’t have to travel, it is certainly not recommended,” Paige Konieczny of the National Weather Service in Flagstaff told KTAR News 92.3 FM.
With more snowfall expected Friday, poor road conditions are likely to last into the weekend in northern and eastern Arizona.
