The Kansas City Chiefs got blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. The AFC will get a welcome set of stats that go on to show that the Super Bowl may be wide open for a new team. Super Bowl losers have historically had a tumultuous season after their loss.

Kansas City is set to compete for its third consecutive title against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on February 9. A win over the Eagles would make the Chiefs the NFL’s first-ever back-to-back-to-back champions and set a new standard for excellence in the league that would be hard to replicate by future dynasties.

The Chiefs would love to get that kind of impact from their next first-round pick. If they address left tackle in free agency, they could go defensive line with the first pick. The only rotation defensive linemen under contract for next season are Chris Jones, George Karlaftis, Mike Danna and Felix Anudike-Uzomah. The draft is April 24-26.
