Emmy Awards aired last night on ABC, with FX on Hulu shows Shōgun and The Bear leading in the major drama and comedy categories, respectively. Hosted by Schitt’s Creek vets Eugene Levy and Dan Levy, the event took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Quick witted, full of stars, TV reunions and some "Schitt's Creek" nostalgia, the second 2024 Emmy Awards was an inoffensive, pleasurable evening, which is honestly an A+ as far as awards shows are concerned.

Early winners included Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Jeremy Allen White and Liza Colón-Zayas, who won awards for their work in the comedy series “The Bear.” Stars presenting Emmys to their peers included: Billy Crystal, Viola Davis, Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Maya Rudolph and Martin Sheen.
