DeSoto was no stranger to either – its 330-cube hemi V8s (plural, as in the four-barrel Fireflite and a two-barrel Firedome) were pushing 255 hp and 230 hp, respectively.

The DeSoto Firedome, Adventurer and Fireflite models—also ridiculously rare these days—had a very similar appearance in the late 1950s with the twin-headlight look.
