Prosecutors in the Karen Read case are asking a judge to exclude testimony from the defense team's digital expert, Richard Green.

DEDHAM – Special prosecutor Hank Brennan, who was brought in for Karen Read's upcoming second trial, is asking the court to exclude testimony about witness Jen McCabe's "ho [w] long to die in cold" Google search that was a sticking point of controversy in the first trial.

During Read's first trial, a digital forensics expert hired by the defense testified that McCabe’s phone googled “how long ti die in cikd” or “hos long to die in cold.”

The prosecutors in the retrial of Karen Read want to keep out the testimony of a digital forensics expert who alleged that a friend of John O’Keefe’s searched “hos long to die in cold” on Google. Read’s first trial in the death of her Boston police officer boyfriend O’Keefe ended in a mistrial on July 1.
