A Maine man was identified Tuesday as the driver who died in a three-car crash on Interstate 95 south in Portsmouth, N.H. that also injured two women, including one from Massachusetts, authorities said.

One person was killed and two others injured in a 3-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on Monday night. The crash occurred around 6:41 p.m. on I-95 south. State police troopers said they initially responded to a report of a smoking vehicle stopped in the middle southbound lane of the highway.

Police have identified the man who died in a crash in Portsmouth on Monday night. Martin Osier, 62, of Bremen, Maine, died at a local hospital, police said. Troopers originally responded to the scene around 6:40 p.
