Retired Rams linebacker Aaron Donald may come out of retirement if the Rams decide to pull the trigger and trade for Micah Parsons.

But for former Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth, the loss of Parsons in practice is having a negative effect on the Cowboys' ability to get ready for the 2025 season. He attended the Rams and Cowboys joint practice this week and even spoke with Parsons on the sideline.

As the calendar turned to August, Dallas Cowboys superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons publicly requested a trade. The four-time Pro Bowler is in the midst of what has become a contentious contract negotiation, and said in a statement he "no longer wants to be here."
