Bronny James got the surprise call to play in the first quarter for the Lakers and finished with the first serious playing time of his NBA career. It wasn't great. Bronny took off on a fast break and his shot was rejected by Adam Bona.

Through the first half of action, Bronny played five minutes. He recorded just one assist and he missed his one and only field-goal attempt thus far, a three-pointer. The Lakers, however, as a whole, have not been playing well, as they find themselves down by 16, 73-57, to a 76ers team that's without Joel Embiid and Paul George.

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, was recalled to the NBA after his 31-point performance in the G League on Friday. Turning in a career-high for the South Bay Lakers, James added two rebounds, three assists and two steals to his overall line.
