Wordle #1299, which appears in today, January 8‘s edition of the New York Times, can now be solved. Welsh software engineer Josh Wardle invented the NYT word game, which offers players six chances to guess a five-letter word correctly.

Connections is the one of the most popular New York Times word games that's captured the public's attention. The game is all about finding the "common threads between words."
