The writer/director of this summer's "Superman" and the co-head of DC Studios offers a peek behind the curtain.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Gunn was asked about the aftermath of his controversial Marvel firing due to some old tweets, which he once said offered him the "experience of feeling truly loved" for the first time, as many friends reached out to him for support.

DC Studios co-head and "Superman" writer/director James Gunn has finally responded to online controversy over a shot from the very first teaser for the film. Gunn says the shot in question didn't have finished visual effects and was one he had taken out of the movie.
