Jeremy Peña, Correa's direct replacement at shortstop in Houston, will keep his position. It will be the first time in Correa's MLB career that he plays a position other than shortstop.

The Minnesota Twins traded Carlos Correa to the Astros on Thursday, according to multiple reports. He will play third base for the team, according to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand. The 30-year-old waived his no-trade clause for the deal to go through.
