Walker Buehler won’t be returning to the Los Angeles Dodgers next season, but instead, will join the Boston Red Sox in the American League East. Buehler officially addressed Red Sox fans in a social media post.

In a seven-year career, all with the Dodgers, Buehler has a 47-22 record with a 3.27 ERA. He has twice finished in the top 10 in Cy Young Award voting.

The Red Sox still need another right-handed bat, and one of their best free agent options is reportedly off the board.

The Boston Red Sox have already upgraded their rotation this offseason, signing Walker Buehler to a one-year deal and acquiring Garrett Crochet in a trade with the Chicago White Sox. However, it still would've been nice for Boston to acquire one of the top pitchers on the free agent market.
