A portal to the past awaits at MC Motors (Dalston) from 7th-10th July. Step inside and travel back to the smoggy streets of Victorian London, where a debonair detective, Her Majesty Queen Victoria, and a host of colourful Victorian characters will help you get to a little known tennis tournament called Wimbledon. Just watch out for Jack the Ripper! Time travel is thirsty work, but fear not, a Victorian barkeep will be on hand with a little Belgian beer that’s also new to London. And when you’re ready to go back to the future, the main bar will be screening Wimbledon 2016, so you can see just how far the world’s biggest tennis tournament and Belgium’s biggest beer have come from their humble beginnings. Created with Olivier nominated theatre troupe Les Enfants Terribles and the studio behind Oscar-winning movie Gravity, this all-immersive theatre experience is not to be missed.
