The view of Peyto lake is one of the most amazing sights in the Canadian Rockies. If you are driving Highway 93 or staying in Lake Louise don’t miss this wonderful view. There’s a parking lot just of…Full review by Roxtor

I am planning to take some elderly folks from England to see Peyto lake later this month. Is there any way that they can get a view of the lake without the "short steep climb"? These people are mobile, but not hikers. Thanks for any suggestions

If your on a tour the bus parking lot is a lot closer to the overlook (top). We were driving and our walk from car parking was more then twice as long so it was a lot longer. I would think if on a tour bus the walk is manageable for people in decent shape. It’s at a high elevation so I would take my time getting to the overlook. I walked too fast forgetting about the elevation and that was a mistake. IF YOU CAN GET THERE ITS MAGNIFICENT, ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR CANADIAN ROCKY MOUNTAIN TRIP! I am 77 years old and in decent shape DennisL
Any listing of specific date that the Lake will be closed for renovations?! I have a group traveling there on Friday, August 16 and am hoping that mid-August means later than the 16th? Any idea of "real" closing date? If it does close is it possible to at least look at it from some point?
