There are no standard tours scheduled on Mondays, Tours are conducted on Tuesday through Saturday. That means the 27th is out. However the Visitor Center is open and there is a lot of information available, If you can make it on another day the Hobcaw Barony web under the Visit Menu Item, lists all of the tours and times from Tuesday through Friday.
Can you just stop by the discovery center anytime or do you have to make a reservation? And can you see the plantation house without taking a tour?

The visitor center is open to drop ins, but all tours need to be reserved. It's not a plantation house, it's the home built in early 1900s by Banard Baruch to use to entertain his friends, including Winston Churchill and FDR. Or his daughters house built in late '30/. Also check Nothing Inlet-Winyah Bay reserve for short, unstrenuous walks into the area.
